Oracle RAC

In these posts I’ll focus on the concepts on which RAC is build. I have been reading blogs, books, white papers, documentation, undoubtedly they are very informative but at the same time either very lengthy or very complex, so in the following posts I’ll try to explain these concepts in as simple words as I can.

Throughout my post my explanation would be of 11gr2 (Unless specified otherwise) RAC concepts as explaining previous versions is not of any point as Oracle has already stopped supporting them, but still conceptually if there is anything that I can help with I would be more than happy.

Please comment if you need explanation on any topic that I miss.
